Very challenging, but does MORE than prepare you for college. College Calc will seem like a breeze after taking her class. Was always open to questions. Do your work and show you care and you will pass. She can be mean and impatient sometimes but you just have to deal with it. It is the perfect college prep class. Makes you work hard to earn your grade. Not the teacher you want but the teacher you need. Won't hold your hand but will show you the way. Solid Overall.
Ms Gero goes very fast over the material which can be very confusing however she is really knowledgeable and is almost always accessible to get to and will help you out a lot.
Don't believe the other comments on here. I came into senior year thinking that AB calculus would be horrible and that I wouldn't like her based on what I've read about her. Ultimately I was proven wrong. She was actually one of my favorite teachers this year. She is super super nice and she does know her material and is always available for help. She is actually a great teacher. The final exam is also a piece of cake since us, the students, are the ones who come up with the questions ourselves.
She was okay. But her + Ms. Dixon * 1 cramped class room = Trouble
I don't know about precalc or algebra, but if you take calculus this is the teacher for you. You will recieve more understanding than in a college or university. Even though it is sometimes hard, she will make you understand
She checks homework randomly. Most test questions come from the textbook. Better than other precalc teachers, but that's not saying a lot. She's disorganized.
shes a pretty good teacher and very helpful after school
i can't read her handwriting at all! and she knows her writing is impossible to read but she writes on the smartboard anyways!
