He's ok. He doesn't explain things very well, but if you ask him anything he's very knowledgeable. Tests are ok-hard. Doing homework helps a lot with your grade.
He's a nice teacher and he's a good guy, but he's not that clear with his classes. In his tests he always puts things that we haven't even learned yet but expects us to know. He likes to teach things that are off topic as well, or meant for a different grade or class. He's just not the best teacher.
he knows stuff but doesn't teach anything, at all. i've taught myself almost everything so far. he also enjoys throwing pogils at us, and not teaching us what we need to know to fill them out. thank god for the internet.
Comes across as a very smart guy assignments are a little excessive and he's usually very unclear about them.
In my experience he's a really nice teacher and knowledgeable if you ask. For the lessons he just lets you do it in your group which isn't helpful since how are you to explore something if you don't know it in the first place. READ THE BOOK THE DAY BEFORE we do the lesson and it would help a ton. You would also seem smarter. Tests are usually hard if you don't know the stuff which is at least %60 of the class.
He will not do the work for you, but if you need help he will explain in more detail. If you do your work in class and do the lab reports, it's kind of impossible to to THAT bad on the tests or in the class. Definitely the best of the BLS Chem teachers. Does not let kids light their hands on fire though. He's actually interested in the material and makes it relevant to our lives. Glad I had him!
AP Chem itself is a hard subject, but his teacher was pretty good. Not SUPER DUPER amazing, but pretty good. If I needed any help he was there to clarify and he's a pretty cool guy. Somewhat awkward
Mr. Balicki is a great guy- really smart and funny, but not a great teacher. Sometimes his lessons are unclear and he gives is very little guidance.
hed be a good teacher if he iddnt choose favorites at the beginning of the year and stick to them. he doesnt do the 4321 system fairly its based off his favorites. hes helpful if you ask though.
It is great that he actually expects you to learn on your own. If you cannot motivate yourself, how will you deal with the rest of you education. Just do not expect him to give answers, do your work,
I had Balicki for two years, and have been in love with him ever since. Seriously...didn't learn much physics though.
Balciki is the greatest teacher i have had, anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea what they are talking about.
He can't teach. I'm sorry. No. Just can't work. He's okay as a person though...I guess...
Scotty B seems like he has no clue what he is doing but he actually gets it all together in a wierd way. The man still has some issues but overall he's a decent guy.
Mr. Balicki is fine if you get the topic, if not...well...
He's a pretty good guy and can be funny, but generally he's not a very good physics teacher. He tries to teach, but he never really explains things until after u take the test.
Really cool, nice guy outside of school, but a terrible and annoying teacher, ex: ask him a question, he'll say "well what do you think?" obviously i don't know, mmkay?
STOP TELLIN JOKES AND START EXPLAININ THE MATERIAL BETTER...WAY TOOO OBSESSED WIT THE SIMPSONS
Mr. Balicki can be confusing at times, but he's not that bad, and he's funny.
anyone who gets him for physics should feel lucky. he's the best teacher ever. i had him last year and now i still cannot pull myself out of his class.
Balicki's cool but honestly he can't teach too well.
Balicki is an awesome guy and a pretty good teacher. His classes can be tough at times but really fun at others so it evens out. You're lucky to get him.
MOst OVERated teacher ever. Don't expect him to be a good teacher. I learned nothing from him.
I've been waiting two years to have him as a teacher. Maybe next year? ::crosses fingers:: Everyone says he's really nice. And helpful. Yay.
Balicki is the man. Hope you get him, he's impossible to fail.
Very cool teacher! Could explain light frquency/wavelength better, but who's perfect?
