My most influential teacher was Mr. Bryner. He gave me the knowledge to see both sides of life, the good the bad, black and white, negative and positive, the yin and the yang. He taught me to appreciate them both and accept them both as part of life. This has given me a wisdom I would have never acquired without that knowledge. I think of him often and hope he is well where ever he is in the universe.
One of the most inspirational people I have ever met. He inspired me to see in myself the things he saw I am capable of. I think he still to this day has the book of the Herman Sketches
Is this the same Scott Bryner that taught music at Oceanview? If so, you impacted my life greatly and I thank you thank you thank you.-Amy B.
Thanks, everyone! I enjoyed having all of you in my class.
An amazing person and teacher, which is quite a rarity these days.
Scott Bryner is likely one of the finest educators in the history of public education. There are few who graced the halls of West that were not affected by him.
He was the best teacher. He actually made English fun!
Never had Mr. Bryner, but he was such cool person. He always had an ear to hear.
Haven't had him in a long time, but when I did, he was great!
I enjoyed his creativity in teaching the class. It was fun.
He was one of my favorite teachers and made mythology fun and interesting.
