When I had Mr.Meyer, it was a walk in the park. He would stop and make something clear if someone didn't understand. Some may say he got off topic, it was background information to make it easier to learn about the topic. Mr.Meyer is a great teacher to have because he interacts with the class, and makes global history fun to learn. So on this note, I recommend him.
He may of side tracked a lot, but that is what made it fun. We still finished the curriculum, never felt like I was pushed too hard, and got to learn things I would not have learned if didn't get side tracked
I can say he is a good teacher but he gets side tracked easily. For example, we were talking about Greece and all of a sudden we're talking about South America. He is nice, but he puts stuff on the test that he has not taught us.
It's hard to say with Mr. Meyer. I have him as my global teacher this year and he's really nice. Although he does get sidetrack quite a bit but that's wha makes the class interesting. Although, it never hurt to teach us things that we would be getting tested on. He'll give us review sheets but some of the things on there we haven't even covered yet. The projects are okay but the PowerPoint project was the death of me. He had us do PowerPoint on world event with music & pic. Being timed perfectly
realllly sweet guy, he just talks a lot. youth in government is the greatest club. really easy and you get feild trips. just bring him a pistachio muffin and he loves you forever. afroknuckles.
yeah he can't teach. one week left till the AP test and he goes off on a tangent about like shoes and Bush and then tries to relate it to Nixon. that's just great.
Perhaps when he was going to Oswego he should've learned to teach.I've never disliked a subject so intensely. It seems as though our class will be going to Nelson's review sessions.
Spend most of my time doing work for his class, in which I have learned nothing. Talks more than he teaches, makes excuses for us not learning.
I give him a 2 because I fell asleep more times than I can count in his class. His stories or should I call them borings put people to rest.
uses examples to illustrate point, trys to relate to students, learned alot in this class.
