His class is really easy. He kept saying that class participation was like 50% of your grade, but i only spoke twice and got an A+. He's an ok teacher. He really loves the subject and wants you to be interested, but somehow he manages to talk all class without actually teaching us a lot. and he talks about himself a lot. Overall he's pretty cool
Shawn Crouch is the BEST. He is so talented and so accomplished (he went to Yale and has won a TON of awards) and a fantastic conductor. He's really helpful and has great taste. He's also HILARIOUS.
He is really cool and really gives some sort of musci everyone liked. The last day of the semester rocked. Freeform friday the whole day!
absolutely amazing. really nice, his class isn't too hard, and HE'S FRIGGIN PASSIONATE ABOUT MUSIC! his end-of-semester speech is, "i hope you go away appreciating music." so, yeah, he's awesome. ^^
I got an A+ yay! he's so nice and i really need to learn how to listen to intervals and not just the notes because i have perfect pitch.
he's very good at teaching and very patient (at least with my class). He does have an OCD ish issue going on about "passion" for music.
He's okay. Not as bad as you'll hear he is. Double periods sucked, and I think he lowered my grade a little because I liked to argue with him.
The double periods can be *oh dear* boring, but Mr. Crouch is very easygoing, and tries not to make it TOO harsh/boring. Also, the "obsessive music compulsive" thing, isn't that a good thing?
ugh...too obsessed with music. Seriously, when we listened to 4:33 he was tapping the desk in time to the "music."
How can you not love Mr. Crouch? he is awesome and fun and nice and kind of like a big kid himself. As long as you put any effort into his classes at all, you can do well and enjoy it.
He's way too sensitive and picks favorites very easily. Essentially, if you're not a soprano in his chorus, you're nothing to him.
he's a good teacher-- this has been the only year I actually understood music theory. very cool and passionate about music, and a pretty easy grader.
He's an amazing musician and some of his issues teaching from from Hunter students' expectations that music is a joke of a class. He's a great guy who'll be your friend and teach.
o.0 why does no one like him? I think he's awesome and fun
OMG possibly the most BORING TEACHER EVER! but soooo easy to make fun of
His music history was good, but i take piano, so the theory was a bit elementary. He's a nice guy, and goes easy on quizes and homework. He's very talented and very enthusiastic.
the thing is the people who do know music find his class easy and those who don't extremely hard... yeah it's boring but at least he *tries* to liven it up
Mr. C is a good person, and very flexible. I find his classes a little boring. It seems that he does a lot of singing. He focuses on the people who are having t
I have his for senior choir, and it's an awesome class. As long as you show up, it's an easy A+. He's insane (3 hour rehearsal before the concert) but in the en
one of the best conductors i've worked with. His toughness is what makes his groups some of the best in the school.
Mr. Crouch isnt that great. He can't explain anything, but he's okay. He sings great, but he's a little strict with the behavior. He gives easy homework tho
He doesn't do anything majorly bad or whatev, but he's cool and easy on the homework
he's SUCH an easy grader - I got yelled at for talking and passing notes SO many times, and got an A both quarters. REALLY boring. Be afraid.
Mr. C is a talented teacher that is just very demanding of his students, he gave me a B, but I deserved it. Most of these students want an A for justshowing up
Easy music teacher and an easy A. Not that useful at teaching basic music theory, but is better with adv students.
I feel kind of bad, because he obviously LOVES what he does, but he's so BORING!He expects everybody to be fascinated with his subject, and gets mad if we aren't
Mr. C is really cool. A little hard but a great teacher.
Mr.Crouch has a big ego and he can't teach. He doesn't explain anything clearly, even if someone doesn't understand something. He shouldn't be a teacher.
Mr. Crouch cares way too much about his appearance and his standing with his students. Teaching isn't how cool you are, it's about how much the students learn.
You know, he moved my seat and still gave me an A for the 2nd semester. Try and make him break down, its the funniest thing w/ that nutcase.
he's awesome. he made chorus good. and of COURSE he takes his job seriously! he apparently spends 2 hours per lesson plan or something. and he's nice too.
Man this guy is so cool.He needs some people who really care. This teacher is the best.He is so clear that I hope hey never retires.I hope you all die.
Excellent clarity but you need some spice. Maybe some more challenging stuff man!
Mr C is a good man... he tries really really hard. And you can see that he really has a passion for what he does. A bit pretentious sometimes, but a good guy.
People! Get a grip! Question #21 was a joke. Webster's defines joke as a humorous anecdote or remark. I can't believe everyone is taking offense to it.
I found this to be the most boring class we had. I learned pretty much nothing.
*Tries* to make classes nicer. His methods may work very well in other schools but he fails to see that his students demand more professionalism than others.
he's waaay too easy. and he also doesn't know how to write tests. what was that question with: mr. crouch is a great teacher--true or false? that's just sad.
He has such a big ego! i mean, quoting from question 21 on the seventh grade test True or False, Mr. Crouch is a great teacher. does he take his job seriously?
