Honestly I am passing her class, due to the textbook. Literally does not teach, scared for the AP Test next year.
if you pay attention and actually participate in her class, you will do great. personally, my class was pretty small and I didn't really have many friends so I was forced to participate and pay attention, and I got straight A's. although some of the tests are hard, if you actually study and do the textbook readings you will be fine. she takes forever to grade and is sometimes a harsh essay grader. learn how to write well since there's 3 different essays you will have to learn!
Nice lady but isn't the best teacher. Uses the textbook insanely - I swear that's the only thing you use. Tests are hard
I've had her for two years so far. She does not teach at all in class. All she does is write on the board, illegible, and tries to use language she can't even speak with. Homework is textbook reading and notes. ALL THE TIME. Never anything else. You are on your own in her class. She doesn't prepare you for the AP btw. Good luck
I have a mixed feeling about her, because she is obviously she knows the material pretty well and provides good extra help, and yet I always get a feeling that she is too settled. She does not want to challenge her student nor tries to provoke interest. She just covers the material. I think she should be more creative with teaching, instead of us just telling us to read textbooks. But she is definitely a kind and intelligent teacher.
She's a great teacher! I always remember the information she tells me. She's very nice and funny. I love being in her class! Tests are fair and the homework isn't too much and not too little and the difficulty is reasonable. She's really good at explaining things I don"t understand.
Shes so nice always smiling even though she doesnt know how to teach at all
Basically taught myself. She gave reading homework and note taking and that is where I learned most. Also never told me to get the Ap Barrons book and would have been a great help on test during the year. You are pretty much on your own.
She is kindhearted and cognizant in world history, though she may need to work on learning how to teach. There is room for improvement.
Very Helpful, understanding and actually cares if you do well or not. Very nice and also is very knowledgeable teacher and teaches in depth on topics.
Overall ditzy and lacking of social studies knowledge. Her tests are too simplistic which does not prepare you for the years coming and especially the A.P. Test. If you want to pass her tests go to her extra help, she gives y
extreamely easy tests, gives answers at extra helps and overall a nice person but un-knowledgable
Sometimes she spends time helping kids who are not her students. who does that???
She called my mom over ten times and really made me mad but I ended up with a better grade and learned to write essays. I forgive her.
lots of kids like her she's awesome and nice...if you don't disrespect her. she makes u do lots of work and checks hw like EVERYDAY
she does not exactly help youu out. the amount of time for assignments is not enough. i cant take a mutiple choice test which is like 45 questions and write an essay in 3
Very creative and outgoing, she has a funny way of teaching her students and makes us all laugh. We all love her classes, I can't wait to go to her class everyday, seriously.
always sweet, happy, and kind :) i don't get why someone thinks she's the worst. they're crazy! she's awesome
Great personality, but has trouble teaching an Economics class.
sweet and friendly teacher...I really learned a lot this year.
at times she may be confusing but she is a really nice teachers
Luv her. Nice person, always smiling but scary b/c too optimistic. Okay teacher, should teach everything bout test beforehand and review, seldom does
nice teacher...needs to have 1) easier tests, 2) less worksheets that are just copies of txtbook pgs, 3) stop explainin concepts + more on facts 4) LESS READING PCKETS!!!. she just gives out too much readings!
She's awesome & understanding about things more than S.S, too much reading, but the written HW isn't that much. She's the best 9th grade S.S teacher at syo high-so STOP HATING ON HER! She's such a Teddy bear <3
Her class is so easy, and nobody takes it seriously. She is so sweet and funny(unintentionally). If you get her for global you are totally lucky.
She means well, she tries pretty hard to teach, the class moves really fast but if you pay at least a little attention you'll be okay. And best of all, she ain't Ms. Lowenthal.
Shes so nice and friendly, but her class is a joke.Tests are very easy as long as u pay attention in class (though that might be the toughest part, shes quite boring) hardly any hw
She's a good teacher. I also think she speaks just fine. She very helpful when ask her for help.
OK TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO GRADE OUR TESTS OK OK OK OK OK TIFF
Good Teacher, a little bit hard to understand at times. Very sweet, Informative.
shes soooo nice but decides 2 give a pile of work over like 2 days wen we jus didn't have hw 4 a week she shud spread it out...class wit her was sooo funny ly
such a bad teacher........ doesn't teach stuff herself and leaves us bad projects to teach ourselves
One of the worst 9th grade social studies teachers in the social studies department. She can't control with discipline and lesson plans are poorly prepared.Out!
thanks for the year! don't mind some of these people(they're obnoxious)...you are growing too.
shes like a little teddy bear, but not like a teacher
LEARN HOW TO TEACH....... Your nice and all.... BUT LEARN HOW TO TEACH!!!!
how she tolerates and answers some dorky questions is beyond comprehension...
isnt clear and bad teacher and she is def not the best whoever said that.peacee
ok teacher...sometimes weird ..wat was that whole thing w/ buffalo wings about&#
Unfortunately, kids give her no respect. But she definately does try hard.
Extra help does no good, and you drop grades for no reason,
