She is a very knowledgeable teacher but doesn't really teach well.
Sra. Gleason reignited my love for the Spanish language. The material I learned from her class stuck with me throughout my entire high school experience and prepared me to minor in Spanish in college
I was one of the lucky few who got put into Sra. Gleason's SL class junior and senior year. She helped me more than she will ever know over the two years, both in the Spanish language, and in my life. She was intimidating, and even downright scary at times, but she pushed me to be my best and made me strive for perfection, and she was always willing to talk with me when I needed to. I will absolutely continue to study Spanish in college because of how much I benefited from having Sra. Gleason!
Tough, demanding, and very intimidating. There will be times when you wish you never took her class, but at the end of the year, you'll realize that you've learned so much more spanish than you could have with any other teacher.
Sra. Gleason is the very best. She knows her stuff and is extremely helpful and kind. As long as you do your work and try there should be no problem. I got a 7 on my HL IB exam with absolutely no problem, most people in my class did. You're a lucky person if you get her. Even now in college I benefit from her teaching :)
Sra. Gleason is the best Spanish teacher I have ever had. I have learned more in her class than I ever thought possible!
If you are a rising junior/sophomore I suggest you study the subjunctive over the summer. There is a whole lot of Spanish that you do not know but Sra Gleason will teach you one way or another.
Gleason is really intimidating as a teacher and commands a lot of mutual respect, but she is an extremely sweet person. I wouldn't say she plays favorites, but she is not a huge fan of people who don'
She plays favorites kinda but she is a good spanish teacher. Must be SELF MOTIVATED in her class. Participation is essential.
plays favorites, but if you work alot shell like you.
The only way she wont like you is if you slack her class off. Your test grades show whether you try or not. Also a key to being successful is to participate in class. That is the only method.
Totally plays favorites. She's tough, gives tons of homework, but in the end you speak Spanish fluently.
Intelligent, eloquent, and very witty; she'll hate you Sophomore year, but she'll become much nicer come Junior year. Homework is optional despite what she says.
I learned more in Sra Gleason's class than I did with any other spanish teacher, and I thank her.
Hola! Thank you for everything. You were one of the few teachers who believed in me. The other IB teachers could learn something from you.
Sra. Gleason is so funny and it is a pleasure to be in her class...she is so tough but at the same time i know im learning alot
Amazing teacher..ive learned SO much in her class. However shes very intimidating and expects a lot out of her students. She does tend to play favorites too especially if shes had your older sibling.
Ok, Sra. Gleason is like the greatest teacher. She may be intimidating but that just makes you want to work that much harder to please her.
Sra. Gleason is really nice and I've learned so much in her class. She's one of the best teachers I've ever had.
She's certainly very interesting and you learn a lot in that class, but reading comprehensions aren't too spiffy.
Sra. is the craziest, funniest teacher ever, she is absolutely amazing, and even though I hate Spanish and all the work she gives us, she's awesome.
She tells a lot of story. This class is really hard though!
