She never teaches new techniques. Ever. She cares about students but never actually teaches the techniques that I came to art CLASS to learn. Went into a second level art class expecting lessons to make myself better, but she sent us a basic power point. Pretty useless lessons, no new techniques. Better figure out how to do things on your own because there is no actual techniques applied in these classes. Time wasting. Ap studio art is very good though because she lets you do whatever you want.
Best art teacher i've ever had. I love her to death. If you connect with her and communicate (like asking for help and her advice) you'll get along really well (:
Garvster! Your class is the best. Take calligraphy if you can. Call her The Garv, and ask about Steve. She's moody sometimes, but make her bran muffins.
Shes an easy grader, I got an A without even trying. Her husband is named Gary not Steve.
She's a really good teacher who cares about her students. She's also very understanding and wants all of her students to do well.
great teacher because she knows that not everyone is gifted in art and that is ok as long as you get it done on time and put forth some effort.
ANYONE WHO IS TALKIN BOUT ABOUT THE GARVSTER CAN TAKE IT UP WITH ME AND STEVE(THATS HER HUSBAND).
Does she even like teaching? It seems like sheis always very bugged by students and does not even want to be there
she is a great art teacher. she doesnt grade you on how good of an artist you are. She grades a lot based on how hard you tried, and shes such a nice teacher!
I thought she was easy but she doesn't seem like she likes to teach. she got easily ticked off at students for stupid things.
does she even want to be a teacher? WAKE UP! she is rude!!
Driven by her ego, not very creative, projects were easy, waste of time.
