Mr.Gregory is hands down the best teacher I've ever had at SJ.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Mr. Gregory is one of the best teachers that I have ever had. I had the privilege of taking his Algebra II and Calculus BC courses over my time at SJ. Mr. Gregory, aside from possessing encyclopedic knowledge on almost any topic you could throw at him, has an uncanny ability to help his students learn. His emphasis, although immediately placed on the material which he is teaching, often transcends the curriculum to make his students better learners.
I took Mr. Gregory's Calculus class in 1984. He's one of the smartest and most dedicated teachers I've ever had. He also used some of his own time to help prepare me for mathematics competitions and the Massachusetts Mathematics Olympiad exam. He was probably the most important influence that prepared me to apply to and attend MIT, and to later go on to earn a Ph.D. St John's and all its students are very lucky to have someone of this high capacity on staff. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Hands down the nicest guy and the best teacher i have ever had.
Mr Gregory is a extremely intelligent man. However, he is not helpful in explaining the material.
By far the toughest Algebra Class I've taken (Algebra II) but Mr. Gregory knows what he's talking about and will give you all the help you need to do well. Best Math Teacher to date, and that's saying something
One of the smartest men i have ever met. By far the best math teacher at this school.
greatest teacher I have ever had in my life. He makes complicated math seem so easy. His class is the reason that math is my favorite subject now
smartest teacher I've ever had..also basically the man
One of the nicest guys I know, he has a huge amount of dedication to SJ and all the guys. One of the smartest, humblest and most helpful people you will ever meet.
How come you're not headmaster? The school needs more people like ya.
I love him…but why doesn't he use the natural number system? Rule zero…
Great guy, but needs to reconsider snow day decisions before someone really gets hurt trying to get to school.
Ya, I've seen him play the piano, his mother taught him from an early age. lol
