Incompetent, most of the time feels like he wants to be in class even less than us poor students that got assigned to him.
Once, he had us "listen" and "meditate" on our food and write about it. For a grade. Needless to say I did not get much out of his class. Also, in religion and globalization, we learned nothing about globalization, and only bits about other religions.
It sometimes feels like he isn't teaching so much as commenting. The class doesn't feel really organized or prepared, just more like something that is done on a moment to moment basis. I know he can o
He's a great person and really connects with students, but I feel that he could really use better planning and organization as a teacher. Still, definitely made class enjoyable.
Unless you have gone on ECJ Native America with Herrera, you have no right to judge him. He is an amazing man, and a great teacher. You just gotta listen. Hes hilarious too! Que Yeh!!!!!!!!
Probably my favorite teacher on campus, I've had him twice now and I just think he's an amazingly fun teacher. He makes religion so much more enjoyable.
Mr. Herrera is an awesome guy who understands what teh students are thinking and makes class fun :)
one of the best teachers at mitty. the only sucky part of that class was the powerpoints, but he even he knew that.
i love religion. Mr. Herrera makes it fun and interesting and understands what its like to be a teen
Mr. Herrera is great!!! Spirituality is a great class. Fun, easy, and actually pretty interesting. Have used some of the info in college.
Mr. Herrera is the best teacher I have ever had. He has a unique way of teaching that opens your mind to God and all that he has to offer.
Mediatations are the best... brings culture and class to his teacher
One of the nicest guys I ever met. His classes are fun and enriching
Meditate and write a 1-2 pg paper every night! Fun class, cool teacher, silly hw
