His lack of empathy in insurmountable. He has reckless disregard for his students emotions, putting his own ego, sense of self, and state of mind ahead of his students. He genuinely doesn’t care for their success, I remember him openly telling my friends to terminate their friendship with me cause I was going to turn out as a “nobody”. He is an absolute disgrace to teaching and will do nothing but uninspired many young, excited minds from going into the field of mathematics.

Mr. Madaris is honestly awful. He doesn't know what he's talking about and when he realises he's wrong he can't even correct himself and abandons the whole problem altogether. I feel like the more he teaches the more we get confused, and the more he confuses himself. When anyone tries to speak up and say that we don't understand what's going on, he get's really angry and yells at everyone. Basically, we never get anything done and he doesn't teach.

Im trying to be fair about Mr Madaris but he is not a good teacher. Its as simple as that. He gives no homework and when he does we never go over it. We do random lessons that end up confusing me more than before. If you have him try switching out.

I don't know why but I like this guy. And I got A in his class. Just do your home work, ask questions and be polite in the class. He'll be so easy. I'm in pre calculus now and I still use his algebra notes.

Mr Madaris is the worst teacher i have ever had in my entire ife. He ruined my life. i have to retake Algebra because of him and i have redly good grades. he failed me and constantly talked bad about students behind their back. He always tells us stories about his wife. I wish I had more than 500 characters to write my deep feelings about Mr. Madaris. He was an awful teacher and when we took his final he didnt teach us anything on it. if you get him. SWITCH SCHOOLS.

How this guy is still teaching, especially at Beverly, is a mystery to me. Avoid his class. Take ANYBODY else. He gives out A LOT of Low grades, even if you work hard. You also won't learn what you need to know because he does his own thing, teaching stuff that's not important, giving problems that are way too hard, and taking forever to let you know that you failed another test or quiz a month ago. Even with a good tutor, you could easily fail. Do NOT take him for ANY class !!!

Such a bad teacher. For example, he doesn't teach us ANYTHING and then blames us for not knowing the material. There are so many other reasons why I, as well as everyone else who's ever had him as a teacher, strongly dislikes him. Moral of the story... he's the worst teacher on the planet.

mr madaris is the worst teacher i have ever had. he doesnt care about his students and doesnt explain the lessons, and blames us when we get a bad grade. i suggest that if you have him you should switch out of his class asap. he constantly talks about his personal life which he thinks is more important than our learning. if you cant switch out of his class, then either get a tutor or learn the lessons on your own, or youre screwed.

This is a message to Mr. Madaris: I beg you PEASE try to be a little more sympathetic to your students. We are struggling so much in your prob stat class and all you do is rant about your personal life, while every single student is failing stressing out like crazy just to pass your class. You were never helpful and never have I understood a thing you have taught to us because 1) you go off subject every 1.5 seconds, and 2) YOU MAKE LEARNING MATH THE HARDEST THING IN THE WORLD. i want to cry.

AP Stats: just read and do problems in class and ask questions in class. Don't do homework at home. You will need to study for the AP exam though, because he is not good at explaining things.

OMG, he's insane, this week he got himself off topic and started talking nonsense constantly for forty-five minutes, then he practically exploded at everyone and really yelled at us for "getting him off topic and it's all your fault" What the heck? Also, did not go over the test (both Ch. 1 and 2) AT ALL. Goodness, I do my homework in class, that's probably the best you can do for yourself, good luck.
