He is SO smart. Not the best teacher though. Sometimes it seems like he doesn't understand why you don't understand something. He's nice though.
I've hated science classes literally since third grade, except for this year. I have physics with Schank and he is a fantastic teacher (as long as you aren't in a terrible class, he'll be awesome). He makes this class so much fun while still actually being able to get his lessons done. If you struggle, he will help you whenever he can. He wants his students to succeed! However, he can get irritated and sarcastic sometimes which is discouraging, but it's rare. But overall, he's a great person!
He has good intentions, but doesn't seem to realize that half the class doesn't understand a word he is saying. He has favorite students within the class- usually the ones who had him as a teacher previously- and teaches specifically to them. Then, during tests, he'll see his star students finished early, decide on the spot the test must not be hard enough, and add questions while the rest of the class is still struggling through the first part.
Teaches too fast for me, but is very helpful. He is a funny guy, and makes physics pretty fun.
I skipped into your advisment everday... you never noticed lol... and you still don't know who I am.
downright mean to the students he doesn't like... too easily frustrated when students don't understand a concept
Oh gosh...Schank, where to go with that one. Can be nice, but frustrating.
Good teacher, very easy going. dont get on his bad side
