He was a really good teacher made learning chemistry fun and easy and also explained it and did multiple examples
good teacher and very understandable but never exepts work a little late even with an understandable situation so it lowers
Mr. Rulon is an amazing teacher. He truly knows the subject matter in many aspects and will break down the information for you from different angles to help you understand. His homework helps greatly to clarify the information while not harming your grade if you are unable to complete it. Best of all, he dedicates hours of his free time to help students after school on weekdays without extra pay because of his dedication to his students. His hard work and humor make him the best teacher I've had
Mr.Rulon is very nice :)
I think he was a pretty good teacher. Though there are pros and cons. He really knows his subject, but he has trouble breaking it all down to an easy level. On the bright side he does everything he can to make sure you understand. Make sure you always ask questions on what you don't understand, otherwise he'll keep teaching without any further elaboration. He is pretty fair with your grades. He'll work with you, if you work with him. Chemistry is hard, you need to study on your own time too.
I went after school for help once and you like remember that scene from Star Wars where those hippy bears are about to roast Han Solo (and you're largely thinking like why would hippy bears eat meat?? I mean they're probably vegetarian. Whatever though) ? It basically happened that way. Just replace the Ewoks with chemistry and my brain with Han Solo. Dreadful, 10/10 would not do again. CHEMISTRY IS HARD
I feel that Steve really does a good job when it comes to teaching chemistry through the computer and when he rents on DVD's of professional wrestling he really makes me laugh along with The 3 Stooge.
I had him last year, and it never seemed enough to him whatever i did. I studied, stayed after school, and did my hw, but it was the exit quizzes that killed my grade. They never matched the topic
Rulon's so called busy worked def. prepped me for the AP test. He does have a habit of never being there, atleast this man tries. He's a good teacher, if you give him a chance and he's pretty funny.
Not a fun class, but he definitely puts effort into it and i learned a lot. (CP Chem)
He cares and actually tries to teach. Hard class, but it's hard material.
He's fair and he does care about the crap he teaches.
Mr. Rulon is the rare Bwine teacher that actually knows about the stuff he's teaching
Hes a bangin teacher, he knows his stuff. It's just the man is such a tool. GET SOME PERSONALLITY MR RULON!
Good teacher! At first I didn't like him, but he's grown on me because he's pretty fair, tries his best to teach you the material, and he knows a heck a lot more about his subject than most of the teachers at B'Wine. Hard class, but that's not his fault--it's hard stuff.
he is so nice after skool and i like his class so screw off if u dont like him
dude if u ask for help after school he helps u sooo much! i had the hardest time learning n i couldnt get nething the first grade i got was a b but barly a b but by the end after him helping me i got As first A in science
Aw. You need a good rating. People are used to having easy classes, like Bio or 9th grade science... Rulon was a challenging teacher to have, but I actually paid attention and didn't copy my homework out of the back of the book and had an A for the year. I've never found him intimidating... More of a mildly amusing science dork. Dorky people make the best teachers.
AP Chemistry is hard. That is that, and sure the teacher has some flaws. A lot of the time no one understands what he is saying, but if you look past that, he really does attempt to explain stuff to you. I can understand why people may think he seems condescending but he's alright once you get used to him. He doesn't ever refuse to answer a question..if you don't get his answer ask to clarify!
I like Mr.Rulon! chemistry is a REALLY hard class so no teacher is going to be perfect, but once you get used to his way of teaching you can learn alot! Oh and POGILs are really cool!
