JUNIORS-DO NOT TAKE PRE CALC. Zaleski makes the class 10x harder. Nearly all of her pre calc students are failing the class. She does not go out of her way to help and never works out problems she just shows her answers. The people who rated her well we're probably just her favorites-she has many and if you're not one you get called out and graded unfairly. She is so rude and only likes you if you get A's. This is by far the hardest math class and you're better off taking intro to college math
Ms. Zaleski is an amazing person entirely. People who say she's mean have really never taken a chance to get to know her personally. She is incredibly hilarious, extremely clear in how she teaches and is an overall great person. The material covered on tests is fair to what you learn in class and in daily homework. 3rd quarter was the only challenging quarter that requires you to put in quite a bit of effort to learn entirely new material(hrsalg2)
Many people don't like her as a person, but she is very good at explaining math topics. Just don't get on her bad side and you'll do fine. Personally, I'd rather have a coherent teacher who isn't very nice than a nice teacher who doesn't know how to teach.
I had Mrs. Zaleski 3 out of my 4 years at RHS and loved it. I am not very good at math, but she always believed that as long as her student's tried, she would be happy. She is the best teacher there.
Good teacher but a little hard. Pretty strict grader as well but she pushes you to do better. Really nice though and is willing to always help.
One of the best teachers that I ever had at RHS, way back in 2001. Lessons learned in this class, namely about accountability, will help you forever. She prepared me for success in college.
STRICT. Shes good at teaching, but shes sort of really mean:P
Shes really good at explaining things, but she is a harsh grader!
All of the rumors about her being mean and biased are totally untrue. If you work hard in her class, you will do well. Shes a great person, and very professional. Makes math fun.
I learned so much from her. She is great at explaining things. She is really fair. Some people don't like her because she holds to firm and fair standards. If you want to learn a lot, you will lov
aso smart and kind and she helped me believe in myself. I will never forget you Mrs Z
This was probably my favorite teacher this year! Her class was soooo easy! BUT SHE WAS A BLAST! I WANT HER NEXT YEAR TOO! :'(!
I love Mrs. Z! she is so clear with the way she explains things and she's such a great teacher that you almost don't want to disappoint her. She's so professional too and we never hear her talk about random stuff.
Wow, after being stuck w/ Shawnbeck freshman and sophmore year, Mrs. Z is a breath of fresh air! I actually understand FST after 2 years of stumbling around in the dark w/ Shawnbeck
Mrs.Z is the best teacher i have and i have the best time in her class
I'm learning so much! Not like last year with Arnold.
shes very clear in her teaching skills but she has the biggest trusting issues in the world.
Very clear. Why don't people like her. Yes, she's hard, but that's because she's a good teacher and very thorough.
I used to think I was really bad at math, but now i know mrs. z is just a really hard teacher
One of the best math teachers I've ever had. You have to work hard in her class but it's worth the effort. You learn a lot. Take her!!
Mrs. Zaleski definitly favors certain students. She lets her emotions take over and treated one of my friends very unprofesionally. I didn't find her helpful.
I loved her. If you show you care about how you do in the class, she will do whatever she can to make sure you succeed. Great enthusiasm in teaching! TAKE HER!
Although she knows Math well and can explain it well, I feel that she treated some students better than others and favored some too much.
Mrs. Zaleski is an excellent math teacher. Two of my children had her and excelled with her instruction.
