Prefers scholarly, advanced students. Her work load is huge but it prepares you for the future. She is assigned to teach "regents" level classes but definitely pushes students to a more advanced enriched or AP level. She is hilarious but her class is not a walk in a park.
Not as bad as people say. She asks a lot of you but usually gives you a reasonable amount of time to get it done. She does seem to actually care about students and isnt necessarily rude just stingy about certain things. Abide by her rules and specifications and youll be just fine.
Very rude to students, not clear, disrespectful. Causes problems. Awful teacher
She has made such a better writer. Her work may be tough because it is a lot, but at the end of the day it is worth it.
Ms Woodward was a wake up call for me in ninth grade, but I learned so much I am forever grateful. She may seem scary but she is actually a very nice lady.
The best class I have ever had in Schroeder. I still stop by to say hello to her. Yes, her class is difficult, but you always leave a better writer. She has a love for her students, as she's actually known by some politicians now for being so tough on them for bad teaching laws, especially ones that affect students.
Overwhelming students doesn't make you a good teacher. She is unapproachable and never is understanding like others. She honestly is oblivious to the fact that high school students don't ONLY take her class. Her quizzes and essays are IMPOSSIBLE.
Ah, the notorious Miss Woodward. I'll admit, she's not very sympathetic to the fact that she's teaching 13-14 year-olds, but after you graduate her class you'll be more than prepared for next year's English. Plus, she's a very kind woman.
she seems really mean and strict but i am learning a lot. she seems like she can manhandl anyone but is also very nice
She has a bad reputation, but so far this year... I love her! She has some fun quirks. She listens to 70s and 80s rock, she performs in musicals, she's actually really funny sometimes. I think that pe
Yeah, her class is tough. She's very strict, too. Ms. Woodward does give you really good preparation for the years to come, though. Stick with it and you'll learn a lot.
For a freshman course teacher, she will take you for a wild ride. But once you get through the allnighters and poems and strictness, you'll find you learned a lot more from her than any other teacher.
She is the only teacher who will realistically prepare you for college. Her class was not hard and she gives you a schedule ahead of time so it's your fault if you can't get your work done
Mrs. Woodward is an extremely hard teacher, she treats every class like they're advanced, and for those in the advanced class i feel bad for you! Her class is really hard but you learn alot.
Ok I just finished a year of Enriched English with her. It was not hard. Those of you here who are crying about her "college expectations," go back to Middle School. Not hard i you have half a brain.
Heavy work load but also very helpful for future classes. If you can do the work it's a fun and unique class.
She told me that I was absolutely incorrect and she couldnt even begin to understand what I was thinking on an opinionated question. She proceeded to give me a 0 for it. For an OPINION based question.
A truely educational class! always pushing the boundries, which might seem wierd to some, but i definatly appreciated everything she did for us, i will always miss Woodward's class! with love, beebe
She is unapprochable and unrealistic. Giving excessive assignments does not make you a better teacher. I think she has a very high opinion of herself as a teacher. Think again!
She is great at what she is supposed to be doing. Her class is hard but it is preparing you for highschool. She made class very interesting, and her groups for certain books motivated us to do well
i didn't like her at the begining but now she is nicer 2 me but she gives 2 much hw but she is not that bad i found out 2day lol
My son had Ms. Woodward for 2 years and he learned more from her than any other teacher he's had at that school. I'm amazed by those who complain when all expec
