Mr hornback is de besht englihs teacher eveer. My good Grammer is grait now cause he does us membean!
I hope he'll teach me Anglo-Saxon some year
10/10 would Joe Biden again. In all seriousness though, he is a great teacher. Although we may get off topic quite a bit, he still manages to keep us relatively on task, even if someone says something about steel trees or "grasping it." I found myself rather prepared for the final. When I move on to the Shake and Bake, I will miss that class. I will miss all of the unforgettable moments, from Odysseus's thighs to the Imagist poetry.
One of my favorite teachers this year. His teaching is sometimes unclear but he always relates things back to the main idea of his lesson.
Mr. Hornback is one of the best english teachers at Jesuit. He is fun and engaging, yet he still teaches the subject, mostly on arguing. The whole class revolves around argumentation, and he teaches it well.
English 1XL first week 09. Mr. Hornback: "Gentlemen take a sip" Freshman: "A sip of what?" Mr. Hornback: "A sip of SHUT THE HELL UP" Best freshmen class ever highly recommended. TAKE IT!!
Had him for English 1 XL. Amazing, being door guard was life changing
By far my favorite teacher @ JHS. He is a great figure to look up to and a personal hero of mine.
fun and pretty easy. not too much work and fun class.
This Teacher know what he's doing. When he's talking, you are probably listening or laughing at how ridiculous his remarks are. If you have the choice, choose MR. HORNBACK!
"Gentlemen, take a sip..." to "Pass your papers in a serpentine manner." Awesome guy, but somehow I like him more when I was out of his class lol!
Mr. Hornback = FUN. He is a great, funny, and smart guy. Maybe the best (and coolest) at Jesuit. I think that everybody should get the Hornback experience. "Now, gentlemen, let's stand for prayer." *hand signals*
Very awesome teacher, almost certainly the best in the school. "Gentlemen, I honestly don't care what Whoopi Goldberg has to say about the war." Too bad not everyone gets to have the Hornback experience.
Best teacher ever. love the serpentine stuff. favorite quote: "Excuse gentlemen, my pants appear to be ringing."
Forget what I said about the "serpentine manner". Mr. Hornback rocks.
"gentleman who's horrified? well its a horrifying story." "gentleman my granddaddy didn't own an animal he couldn't ride." i loved hornback, too bad he doesnt teach horror anymore
most likely my favorite teacher at J-high...smartest by far...best stories...most entertaining english class at jesuit is english 1 xl
best teacher at jesuit..easy class but most interesting...he has the best stories....great lad
"gentlemen, lets pray" *hand signals* hornback is a baller, best teach i had freshmen yr. all these haters r obviously to lazy to understand his class. Hornback knows all!

THIS GUY IS THE MAN...Hornback if ur readin this, ur the man...PERIOD. Class is freakin awesome ..too much fun and u learn a lot
Best teacher ever...just don't slack or be out of your seat when the bell rings.
Awesome teacher! works with students extremely well and definitely gets people to learn! I actually memorized some etymological pieces freshman year!
Great Guy. He's awesome...challenge him to a katana match...haha...Jesuit memory-maker...
This is one of the greatest teachers at J-high. His stories are grand and his methods of teaching are granderer. Don't belive those negative nacys, he's good!
This is a great teacher who loves his stories, and knows his classes.
Gotta love the physical challenges and playing the game. *air quotes*Top gun is a four star movie! :-D
his class was awesome, he has helped me both achedemically and in life, i owe much to him, with people like him teaching, its hard to not like school
He is one of the coolest guys ever! story time, physical challenges, door guards, and dont open the door! his class was tough but he is a great person.
This guy's the man. Anyone who doesn't appreciate him just isn't smart enough to absorb what he had to say. Gentlemen, I'm excited.
The class was not so hard, but the teacher could NOT explain ANYTHING
there were more nagetive aspects of the class than positive aspects
i did not learn a single thing in this class; waste of an elective
what a disgrace! the guy was telling jokes during FINAL EXAMS; inappropriate
