Mr. Whyle was my teacher over 15 years ago and have yet to find a teacher that can compare to him. He was tough, but prepared you for the real world. He was precise in many ways and sought preciseness in his students. He listened and respected you and expected it in return. I remember him having us listen to old radio broadcasts of timeless stories. He was certainly a teacher who made sure our imaginations were exercised. I will never forget him and his unique teaching style. Brandy H
Mr. Whyle was my favorite high school teacher. He got to know his students and challenged us to succeed. He didn't dumb down the material, and I think that's why some students didn't like him. He didn't take crap, but he also wasn't going to fight you on it. High school students can decide for themselves how hard they're going to work.
This man is brilliant. He is the only teacher at Ambridge in 76-77 who accepted folks for who they were and was able to draw the good out of us and teach us at the same time! He is also the coolest teacher that I ever met.
A group of fellow grads from 77 agree that the only engaged teacher we had to learn lifeskills was Mr. Whyle. He was super cool with his suits and corvette.
Best teacher I've ever had. Loved that guy.
Absolutely a fabulous teacher.... the best I have ever had!!!
great guy, can really teach you how to live, great teacher he's a tuesdays with morrie kinda guy
Ok. Whoever keeps saying so and so retired...they didn't. Whyle didn't and Larrick didn't (though I hope she does before next year...)...Whyle is a great teacher. He is very funny and kind
Had him for English and American Lit. Great at the lit, english...so,so.....nice enough guy.
Mr. Whyle taught me 13 years ago, and I'm still grateful for his guidance and knowledge. One of the finest teachers I've ever known.
he lies a whole lot. he pretends he doesn't know what some things are like survivor and nintendo. he is kind of a good teacher but tries to make us fail so it doesn't actually help
Whyle was my homeroom and English teacher. He can be full of himself at times, but he forces you to challenge yourself. What you learn in his class is so helpful in college.
Mr.Whyle is one of the greatest teachers if not best teachers at Ambridge. I have learned so much from him this year and i kno i am ready for college thanks to him
I dont even care about the class. Mr. Whyle is my soul-guide. He is the greatest person alive!
Mr. Whyle is the greatest man alive. His class is not easy, but if you pay attention you will learn. His class has helped me greatly in college.
He's not easy, but you'll never forget him as long as you live. To this day, after 3 years of college, still the best teacher I've ever had.
Mr.Whyle was awesome. Sure, he was hard at the time but trust me, the stuff is really valuable in college. You'll really appreciate all the work he gave
I still use what he taught our class now, 4 years later and in college. He prepares his students for what they will encounter in college. Plus, he's fun!
Great teacher. I still use what I learned from him years ago. Thanks
Mr. Whyle had the best classes.... "As long as you pass the tests...."
