I love the way he says "Thylakoid Membrane"
Not an easy class, but Mr. Jacobs is approachable and tries his best in explaining the material. Shares materials and notes with the other 2 bio teachers.
MR. Jacobs is literally the laziest teacher on campus. Yet, he manages to teach the most material in the shortest amount of time in an easy to understand way.Though he's too lazy to grade, he is always helpful if asked and will go beyond what is required to teach a concept.
You are in for a treat if you have Mr. Jacobs! Not only is he funny and laid back but he's a great teacher as well - it's hard to find teachers with that balance.
He's laid back but still good at teaching and getting the information across. His class is never boring and there's always a calm and friendly environment. Not to mention, he's hilarious.
he's chill which makes life easy...but not the most intelligent, well-informed teacher out there
AP Biology is easy. But he really knows nothing. If you ask him a question he'll rehash whatever is on his notes, which aren't even authored by him. Only good thing about the class is that you can pretty much do what you want to do in there, rather than listen to his lame jokes.
from AP BIO student: worse teacher ever, makes mistakes all the time in his lectures, I mean come on a ligament for a tendon..sheeh, o and he repeats all of his jokes. No creativity there... On the other hand, he is helpful when comes to labs and excel graphs. So overall I think he is a 5.5 out of 10. So i don't think a recommendation is applicable since he is the only AP bio teacher... but hey I got a 4 out of 5 on my AP test for Bio so i guess he did help somewhat.
This man got me into 24. And he kills on the trumpet. He's one of the best teachers I've ever had. Hard class, though.
He teaches..he helped me out A LOT. He is funny and sometimes mean-funny. His AP Bio class is hard but you could get an A if you work hard enough. Great personality tho!
Very good teacher! Very nice and patient. Class was fun.
