Mr. Cook knew every history-based movie known to mankind but he didnt seem to know any real history or any way of teaching history.

He has the most outstanding reserve of knowledge when it comes to movies, yet when its time to learn it is my understanding he couldn't give a lecture if his life depended on it. He did however call my 2014-15 class THE BEST HE HAS EVER HAD.. easy course if you stay awake and stock pile lead and paper, tests moderate in complexity, but nobody in history has ever finished a test in one period, their almost as long as his storage of old readings, still best honors class that you can take 9th grade

I honestly don't think he knows how to teach. We print our own notes offline that the book publishers put together. Then he sits there and reads them out loud and we test over it. Most boring class!

Can you say snooze? His class is boring and I never learned anything. Notes notes notes and videos. That's it. I don't think he actually teaches anything. Fairly easy although the tests can be somewhat challenging. Try not to fall asleep.

He's a nice guy, but all he does is give notes. He doesn't give his political perspective on anything, which is good and bad.
