I am the definition of a Mr. Buck fan. As a current senior at Friends, I did everything in my power to have him as my teacher for this year. It didn't work out, but I hope that this is a good example of how passionate I was about his class. As a sophomore, he taught me in a class that was one of my all-time favorites. Funny but not trying to hard, knowledgeable but helpfu, kind and enthusiastic, this man has it all. I would recommend Mr. Buck..he's a national treasure.
Aside from his class being very engaging, he is one of the most knowledgeable and talented teachers I have ever had. Thank you for your dedication, Mr. Buck.
Mr. Buck is the Best!
Mr. Buck is a great teacher
He is one of my favorite teachers in the friends upper school. i loved going to class every day no matter what i had done. My writing improved severely over the course of the year. i would recommend m
great teacher and a great guy. may he live a long and prosperous life
oh mr buck! what can i say about you! ur so funny, theaterworkshop is the best class ever. you can be serious and fun! his speach thing goes away while hes acting...
why dont you all shut up about his speech disability (if thats what it is)
he cant help it and thats not what makes a good teacher
can't understand what he is saying and he doesn't like special effets. But I'm doing good in English so far
I dont know what kind of teacher he is but I have to say he is the WORST director Ive ever seen and thats saying a lot considering Ive done dinner theater!
Does he know how to grade ? Because i think its random...so do all the other juniors in his course.
While I hate the course of his that I am taking, Mr. Buck has made it enjoyable.
I like Mr. Buck and his way lax tude :-). Its refreshing to have an english teacher like him. I hope to see him in the electives I take in my junior and senior years.
This guy confuses himself. He grades on a basis of charisma, since all new ideas confuse him. He states the obvious and repeats the same point until enough people have gotten up to leave his class. He wallows in the failure and misery of Freshman hall.
By far the best and most brilliant teacher I've ever had. The funniest too.
very insightful and always encouraging and always spoke his mind.
I wouldn't have survived FS is not for having Mr Buck in 9th grade
Perhaps our personalities did not gel, but he was a good teacher none the less.
A great teacher who I credit with teaching me to love reading
Excellent insights into litterature, especialy beatniks
Sometimes I felt like he hated his job, telling the same stories over and over
Awesome. Loves my awful personal stories. Not many people can stomach them.
