Mr. Haff is the best teacher I ever had. He taught at Forest Ridge, my school, after his retirement. He was knowledgable, fun, and extremely passionate about physics. He made the class exciting, and always one to look forward too. He would answer any questions posed by students. His teaching style was highly engaging, even when we were just taking notes. He is so passionate about his subject that he could make even the most science adversed student and make then absolutely love it.

Honestly, the best teacher in teaching. Usually teachers are rated on easiness and how fun they are. But Mr. Haff is a genuine teacher who is great at actually teaching. He is also a great life mentor as his lessons and experiences in life greatly influence us to do good in life. Mr. Haff teaches physics in such an extraordinary way and prepares us for a college class atmosphere. Greatest teacher ever (a real teacher, no easy fluff business). Best teacher I have ever had as he can teach.

I love Mr. Haff! I had him in 11th grade and though it was a difficult class you really learned a lot. I was fascinated by his teaching style and everything about the class. The tests are hard and I had to work very hard to get an A, but it is possible to do so. He is a great guy and over my time at IHS I really got to know him well. I've had some great times just talking to him after school and have even gone fishing with him, a great experience :). Physics Truimphs Once Again!

Mr. Haff's physics class is extremely hard. However, it is not impossible to compensate for that. He is amazing at helping people after school, so although the concepts are challenging he tries hard to make sure you understand it. I really like this class.

Mr. Haff is a great physics teacher. A little quirky at times, he does know what he is talking about and is always willing to help students if they need it. His tests are difficult (try to remember all the funny little stories he tells you) and his labs are difficult, but ultimately helpful. As a college student, I can say with confidence that I am getting A's in physics because of what he taught me. I highly recommend him.

Haff knows what he's doing. He teaches well and knows ways to keep the class interesting. He grades hard and that prepares one for the more rigorous grading in college. He explains physics concepts and applications very well, and you WILL become a better thinker (and physicist!) after going through the class. True, it takes quite a bit of effort. But... no pain, no gain.

One of the hardest classes I've ever taken. But it was worth working for a good grade. When he says this class will build up your ability to reason, he's serious. Excellent teacher if you're willing to work your butt off.
