Easily one of my best teachers, love the guy. He's incredibly hilarious (don't feel like you have to hold back even the slightly offensive jokes), class is amazing. I didn't know it was possible but i kinda enjoy a history class. Also know that shy introverts may not relate as much and be more bored in class. It's really an ideal place to be for extroverts though
So hard but super awesome
So great. Changed my life freshmen year, made me realize how much I love history. We agree about almost nothing but he's still one of my favorite teachers and one of my favorite people. His class is really difficult but it's totally worth it. The stuff you learn stays with out throughout all your other history courses.
He is an amazing teacher and keeps you involved in class.
Hughes is my favorite teacher at LGHS... just a funny, cool, smart guy who makes even the boring things in history interesting. he treats you like an equal and is awesome
My favorite teacher at LGHS. He knows everything about everything, and he's actually very normal..unlike most other teachers at that school. Love Hughes!!
FUNNIEST TEACHER EVER. You need to learn to deal with his sarcasm and balance when you should joke around with him and when you should shut up and listen - but once you get that over with he is THE MO
He is absolutely the best teacher ever and keeps everyone involved
My favorite teacher, very clear, tough class, great guy.
Quite fun, especially reading the random slander on the whiteboard. "Mr Hughes eats puppies" is an example. I find his class easy but then I'm smart...
a bit too much homework... hadn't had 1 day homework-less with him
Didn't like him too much during the class, but I missed him so much the next year. He really is a great teacher and a great guy. Fun, challenging class
i like mr hughes, but the class just made me want to burn all history books
The clocks are in military time (!). I call him Howard Hughes, but don't you!
