My dad my aunt had him and they said he was kind of mean and he was good teacher to learn from. i wish i coulf have ahd him for a teacher
we did so much work with articles and and summaries but other than that mr. mcloughlin was a great teacher. very funny times still wish he was teaching
I heard that he was mean and some students received not soo good grades from him. But he is a classic
ELEMENTS OF STYLE - if u ever have to take a test on this book, you WILL FAIL!! no gettin around that. i pulled off a 32 :)
assigns tons of pointless work and is Bipolar...takes out his anger and fustration on the class and even parents at times...he shows favortism but it switches as often as his mood.
Mr. Mcloughlin was hands down the greatest English teacher I ever had. If you're lazy, he hits you hard, which is the way it should be. Otherwise he's more than willing to help.
i didnt have a problem with him until he didnt like me anymore cause he hated the people who sat around me so he has to chill out alot
he's mostly cool but he's got the worst mood swings and he loves to give zeros and his tests are stupid and not enough notice
Picks 2 many fights with students. Assigns random stuff AND LOVES GIVING ZEROS!!!
he is funny and a great english teacher...don't listen to what other people say he is really cool
Had him in '78 and he was solid. I've been teaching Eng. for 16 years and use some of his grammar devices. "Ah folks..."
Would not hang out with him outside of school but did all he could to make sure I did my best. Picks too many fights with students though.
hey skip, stick to teaching b/c we all know you can't fish
he is ok, a nice guy, and he did a good job to prepare his students for the AP, but he picks on kids sometimes, its not cool, also unprofessional at times
