I had her for AP World History. She is an amazing teacher and she feels comfortable sharing everything with her classes. She uses the textbook a LOT, so don't be lazy, and READ THE TEXTBOOK. It is really important. She emphasizes document analysis, and she's the funniest teacher I've had so far in high school. Have fun in the class...it goes by quickly!
She never actually teaches which is so frustrating especially when a majority of the questions on the test are on topics she has never covered. The tests are analytical, but they require you to know a good amount of historical context. She is funny and nice, and i would be okay with an occasional tangent, but they are definitely way too excessive in this class to the point where they're altering the learning experience and we aren't getting important concepts and ideas down.
During classtime she provides a mix of short presentations, interesting life stories, debates, projects, and exams.
She doesn't try to teach much in class, she's very knowledgeable and qualified to do so but prefers to guide you through learning via activities like debates and charts. Writing numerous essays and completing numerous projects is what prepares you for examinations.
Overall, she's a great teacher. Put in the time to study though.
I love T- Bry!! I had AP psychology with her and I can honestly say she is one of my favorite teachers of all time. Her class is easy, but she prepares you well for the AP exam and her personality makes class so interesting and enjoyable.
Had her for AP World. She gets very political and if you are a conservative you will feel a little uncomfortable. However, she is an EXCELLENT teacher and I really enjoyed her class. If you study, you will do well.
I had her for AP World. Usually, the class time is dedicated to reviewing yesterday's chapter through small in-class presentations or activities. There were a lot of practice essays, but although I haven't taken the AP exam yet I feel a lot more prepared than I would've been if I'd had another teacher. The atmosphere is really light and safe. Occasionally she does get into politics, but I think that should die down a little now that the election's over. 11/10 would recommend.
Ms. Bryant is a good teacher who really prepares you for the AP test (I took AP world w/ her). However, she is always, always talking about her political views, which I think is extremely inappropriate for class, especially since she acts like everyone agrees/should agree with her. Although she is very good about giving out practice essays, she has never once given me a single word of feedback (although I heard this is different for some other students). Overall, she's a pretty good teacher.
Best teacher ever and if you don't think so you are confused
love her so much
I had her for psychology and ap psychology. she tends to talk a lot about her personal life. some find this annoying and some people think its great because it wastes class time. her class is fun and she is a genuine teacher who wants everyone to succeed. however, her tests are too easy but she prepares you for the ap test real well (not sarcasm). she tells you to read the textbook but most people are rebels and dont read. but i read so im a good boy
Great teacher, really funny and so knowledgeable. She knows a lot and you can ask her questions and she will help you no matter what. The classes she teachers are hard and maybe even boring but she makes it so much better. Love the teacher and began to love the subject too because of her.
Best teacher I ever had, all these other comments are stupid, don't pay them any attention.
Ok, so I've had Bryant multiple times while at CCA and overall I'd say I enjoyed her class. However, the tests are pretty difficult so I would recommend using all the resources she makes available. She is a very open and honest teacher and you'll often find yourself listening to a story about her family or life in Arkansas, which isn't always bad. She is very liberal and an atheist and is never afraid to say that to the class. Studying and paying close attention in class is key.
She is a very good teacher, but extremely liberal and isn't afraid to say it. If you are a conservative just be prepared for a lot of liberal ideas. Sometimes it's hard to take her teaching seriously because it can be very biased. It's easy to do well in her class, and she is funny.
Mrs. Bryant is a horrible teacher, who just blabs about social media and her family. Her tests are extremely difficult considering she doesn't teach us anything. Her tests are also analytical, which you cannot study for. She DEFINITELY picks favorites, and grades their essays easier. I find her sassy, rude, and extremely unfair
Ms. Bryant is a great teacher for AP World History. I never get bored in her class because she always keeps us busy. She can come off as pretty sassy but she truly does care about the welfare of her students. Plus her online Facebook is super helpful for collaboration and she updates aeries very quickly.
Ms Bryant was not a good teacher, especially as she said she liked teaching psychology more than world history, the class i was taking. She also rambles about her husband and sometimes goes off tangents. If you are in world history, take Aguilar instead.
Ms. Bryant doesn't know what she's talking about. Her tests aren't even the same as the MC on the AP test. Her MC tests are analytical which you cannot study for. The actual test is just facts. She updates aeries and her calendar, but that's the only things she can do. Her class is completely useless for anyone. I learned nothing from class and got a 4 on the AP test by reading a prep book. The textbook is also way too detailed. She doesn't know how to effectively help student. Just overall lazy
Ms. Bryant talks about her family every single day. Her tests are hard for both classes. She is an awful teacher even though everyone seems to like her because she is "funny" and has social media accounts. She thinks that all her students do well because her class is so "easy" but really it is because kids are actually smart not her. She judges you if your grade is not high enough for her standards. Drop any class you have with her.
Great teacher. By far one of the best I've had, and she made AP world fun. If I bought a Lamborghini for any teacher I ever had, it would be for Bryant
I basically didn't learn much in her class. Although she has a set schedule and easy course work points, she is not the best teacher. She reads off power points and uses youtube videos to teach her class. She doesn't really help you improve your essay, instead she advises you to reach out to other students for help. I regret taking AP world because of her.
Ms. Bryant is such an amazing teacher. She is friendly and truly cares about all her students. I have her for AP World, and my class has really fun debates and serious discussions. She is a teacher that you can really connect with, and I feel like I can trust her with anything.
I am taking CP World History, and Ms Bryant is a pretty good teacher: she wants you to know the material and does a good job preparing you for tests. However, she talks ALOT about her family and at times, picks favorites sometimes. On the plus side, she updates her calendar often and lots of study resources on blackboard.
She is nice and a pretty good teacher. I don't like that she picks favorites and it's obvious to everyone. She doesn't pick favorites based on who works the hardest or anything. She likes all the annoying kids who don't work hard in her class. It's really irritating. I probably would have given her 5 stars if it wasn't for her choosing favorites so much. Also, she always rants about how she only eats super healthy food and no junk food and she criticizes everything that we eat in her class.
She may not know the material as well as other history teachers, but she does really try to make an effort. Her second year teaching WHAP seems to have gone a lot better than her first as she seems to know what she's doing more. Her homework was a moderate amount, and did actually help study for the AP test. She truly tries to help students the best she can and is a very nice person.
Ms. Bryant is a very good teacher who cares about all of her students. She spends a tremendous amount of time helping students before and after school with writing workshops and testing strategies.
Honestly is one of the best teachers i've ever had. I learned the material really well and also learned many skills that will help me in future classes. She really is a wonderful teacher.
MS. BRYANT IS THE BEST TEACHER IN THE ENITRE WORLD!! i learned so much from her class and she made learning world history enjoyable... HATERS BACK OFF. ;)
As a psychology teacher, she was fun, exciting, and entertaining, if hypocritical. However, as an AP World teacher, she is much different. She spends way too much time talking about her family, plays obvious favorites, and makes her material way harder than it needs to be. If she would just follow the college board rubric and not add her own rules, the class would be much better.
Mrs. Bryant is quite honestly one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She is not knowledgeable at all, and spends most class periods talking about her family. It is not hard to do well in her class
didn't like her binder checks but overall good teacher
Bryant answers few questions, assigns excessive homework, plays favourites, rarely lectures or teaches at all, and doesn't understand the course material of AP World; drop her class while you can.
bvad psych techer but gives you a lot of breaks talks a lot about kids
Such a nice lady! Though maybe not the greatest teacher, she is so sweet. Her homework, though a pain, is really great because it boosts your grade a lot. Definitely the easier WHAP teacher. I'm glad
Beautiful person, terrible teacher. She hasn't even majored in history; she's only read something over the summer. And by reading, I mean sparknotes.
the notecards are HORRIBLE, she doesn't teach well and isn't too helpful
