Trout is an EXCELLENT teacher. By far, the best at Tallwood. If you're a prospective college student, this is the chemistry instructor you want. He definitely prepares you for collegiate study.
Mr. Trout is actually really cool, he's just SO boring. He's one of those brilliant, brilliant people who explain something and expect you to get it too. He's a genius and he's funny, but he's boring!
I didn't have him (had Mrs. Stets- who was good) but I heard he was nice but a hard teacher because many didn't "get" chemistry after listening to his lectures.
I thought it was a cool class. Maybe a little boring, but he's a brilliant man. Definitely prepares you for ap chem, which, by the way, you MUST take... see Mrs. Matney's review, haha.
I dread his lectures. There are other ways of learning. He does teach the material, just not in an interesting way.
Interesting man, told great stories. I liked him, he helped us out and he joked around.
Many hated Mr. T but he was exellent. He was a great teacher although he was a little bit harsh/strict. He has a lot of iteresting stories about working in the field
I didn't like his class, but I did learn a lot from it.
Trout knew what he was talking about, though he didn't allow us to interact enough.
