Most people dislike her because they get a lower grade than they had in previous math classes. Stop complaining, that's why she teaches "advanced". If you try your best, you'll do fine.
Good teacher, intense tests, homework by the loads, can be mean, but is willing to help you if you go and ask. Follow her rules. I learned a lot from her, but it was still very stressful.
I didn't like her at first, but she'll grow on you. I learned a lot from her class, but didn't actually do well.
Mrs. Ti is a very good teacher, but hard. Also, get and stay on her good side. If not, your year will be horrible. She's always willing to help.
intensely difficult advanced class, difficult regular class (i TA for the regular one and i took the advanced one). she can be very condescending but she's actually incredibly likable. study hard.
Mrs. Turbeville is really nice, but a strict teacher. If you in her advanced class, she likes to hold it over your head that you should be doing better, but you do learn a lot.
I learned a lot but she seemed unneccesarily mean and condescending. She has potential to be an amazing teacher if she lightened up a bit.
I didn't find out you were required to take notes untill the end of the first semester
tests are impossible in Adv. Alg., makes fun of you for asking questions that you don't realise are stupid, and even after you discover your mistake she keeps going, nice though
she always made fun of me in front of everyone. I didnt mind it too much though. She was hard, no doubt, but i respect her for her understanding in me.
She made fun of me in class. In front of everyone. I am seriouse. I will never forget that or forigve that. If she likes you, it is a good class. If she dosent, she will emberass u
She's OK. Pretty hard, but you can go to her for help. Read the book.
I hated the class when I was in it, but looking back, I learned my math.
Basically, you really have to try in this class. She knows what she's talking about, but she often doesn't explain clearly.
If you pay attention during class you get confused. It's better just to read the book. Just listen if she says something isn't in the book.
she gives too much homework. besides that shes not too bad.
She is very friendly and approachable as long as you don't get on her bad side. She doesn't always explain things very well, but she is patient with questions.
