He was a brilliant man. Always there for his students, and a friend to them too. He got a little too close but that doesn't change the musical and even non-musical impact he had on so many lives.
In my entire life, I have never met a teacher more dedicated to their students than Mr. Dinkins. He is an extraordinary musician and an even better teacher! He made himself available to each of us for both scholastic and personal issues. He cheered with us when we succeeded and picked us back up when we failed. He was such a great teacher because he was respectable, friendly, and drove to get the absolute best out of us. I am sorrowful for all of the students that may not get to be taught by him
Mr. Dikins was a great teacher. Always there when I needed him and just and all around nice person. I cant believe what is being said now. He was just so great....
Mr. Dinkins was my favorite teacher! He was ALWAYS kind and CARING! He's the kind of teacher who strives for excellence, which is why the chior sounded amazing. I had the pleasure of having him for my senior year when he first came to Tennent, and hands down that was the best year of my high school musical experience. I graduated in 2002 and in 2012 he still remembers me. Anybody would be lucky to have him as a teacher! He is the reason I still sing and I will always be greatful to him for this.
Mr. Dinkins was easily my favorite teacher at Tennent. He was always there when I needed a shoulder to cry on and he even gave me lunch money a few times when I didn't have any money. He is such a wonderful human being and I love him.
Mr. Dinkins is the best teacher ever. Knows a lot about music. He's a great friend. You can't say most teachers are friends. He's helped me a lot and now I can sightread music (which I couldn't do before). I think this man should get a reward for great teaching skills or easy to talk to.
T. Dinks is one of my favorite people on this earth. anyone who gave him a bad rating certainly did not get to know him well enough, or at all.
Dinkins was one of the best teachers that I ever had at Tennent. Yes he was angry a lot, but that was because he was passionate about his music. And he remembered me 4 years after I left.
Great teacher. Hard though. Great friend too! And he pushes our abilities farther than we could ever have imagined. too bad he'd never read this. haha
You love him or hate him. You usually love him though haha. He' awesome!
Dinkins... hahah. Enough said. Good guy. Funny class. Short temper. Chorus final is kinda stupid... but whatever. An OK class. Good music. =]
Wonderful man, Wonderful teacher. Helped my children a lot, nott only with music, but confidence and self respect.
very bad, amde threats at my friends. only like his music nerds
Dinkins is one of the best teachers i have ever had!
he helped out my school when we didnt have a chorus teacher and he did very well and chose really good songs nad made us sound way better than now.
Dinkins tells it like it is, and is amazing for it. He's the teacher you remember when you're 80, who influenced you to do great things. I LOVED him!
If you could only see him angry-I left a music class my senior year because of him-He threatened us & cursed us out A LOT-Not a good man at all.
Dinkins is one of the best music teachers I've ever had. He always helps you out and always has GREAT jokes to share.
Dinkins is a cool guy. He'll help you if you need help, but this is not a class for slackers. If you are just starting at Tennent I'd recommend the chorus class!
HE IS AWESOME! IM SO GLAD I HAVE HIM AS MY TEACHER, NOT ONLY IS HE COOL, HE HELPED ME SING BETTER THAN I USED TO.
Dinkins is one of the coolest teachers I've ever had. Not only is he helpful but is also very nice!
i only wish i could have had him as a teacher longer... he started my senior year. Dinkins was awesome and such a wonderful teacher, i loved all of his classes!
