I had him in 1995. I still have nightmares about showing up to class and not being prepared for an exam. But he will push you harder than any other math teacher and teach you so much if you're open to it, and I went on to get an undergrad degree in theoretical math. If Mr. Grooms is reading this, I hope he knows that even though I still have nightmares, he taught me how to think critically and logically and made math beautiful.
He was the hardest math teacher ever, he would throw erasers at us all the time. He was extremely boring in class.
Toughest teacher I ever had, but tought me more about math than all the rest of my high school teachers combined.
He was a wonderful teacher and always offered to give extra help when needed.
