I had Ms. Gingerich about 23 years ago. I enjoyed her class and learned a lot from it. In fact, I am now a science teacher, too. I found her to be a very effective teacher. Not every student or parent knows how to appreciate a good teacher. I do.
worst teacher ever, but i do have some sympathy for her. she barely helps anyone out.
In AP Environmental class, relied too much on PowerPoints. Can't keep track of assignments that have been turned in - you'll need to do it yourself or your grade will suffer. Plays favorites really badly. Complained about her personal problems at least once a week. Seems unable to handle students.
Everybody hates her but that's because they can't handle her level of teaching and aren't willing to buckle down and really focus on what she is saying...if you don't do the homework, and don't read the book when she tells you to, then you WILL have a hard time.
Her expectations are not reasonable for a class of varying ages. Her tests are confusing, multiple choice that read like wrap around sentences. Not open to helping to succeed
she is like the coolest teacher ever! i took her bio class freshman year and it was hard, i did all the hw and everyting and got a C. she did like the rat dissection to much.
Quite possibly the most wicked teacher at marina. i was interested to learn bio, but she turned me off soo bad. just do all the hw, and classwork, and youll get a C
my mom called her "droopy" because of the way she talked, very monotone, unless you are doing dissections. wow, she loved them way too much
she's nice enough. she's a little unforgiving if she decides you don't want to learn. so don't give her that impression!
I was in her class in the late 70's. I thought she was great!
Won't put up with anyone whose not there to learn. Great Science teacher!
Bio was tough, but she gave us a lot of interesting info. that is actually relevant to real everyday life.
