I had Morse for history. The class is a breeze. The issue is that Mr. Morse is incapable of separating his personal feelings from what he's teaching. I can't tell you how many times he talked about his hatred for smartphones instead of actually teaching anything. He has an impressive ability to get off topic and once he goes off topic there is no getting him to focus. You'll just have to wait for him to get tired of his own voice...trust me it will take a while.
I had Mr. Morse for ASB, and he was simply awesome. Most people don't know how much this man does for the school, but it's admirable, and he genuinely cares so much about every student on campus. He can sometimes ramble, but it's all in good taste, and if you pay attention his lectures are actually really interesting. He gives his leadership students a lot of independence to pursue various projects, and this seems to work out. Tino is lucky to have Mr. Morse.
This guy is so inspiring when he actually teaches our class.. This year we had another student-teacher for U.S. History who seriously ruined the class for me, at least in comparison to Mr.Morse's style of teaching. I hope I have him for econ/gov next year because I want to learn more from him. Also, I seriously think this guy should be a politician or something..he seems to be aware of all the problems our country has and has ideas about how to fix them. :) Overall very interesting dude.
morse is very famous for his lectures. for me i see it as a prep for college. true the class is boring but he has a way of making his lectures entertaining. he has a good knowledge on what he teaches and cupertino's history. i always look forward to his random stories. i have never seen him get frustrated over someone or calls our a person individually. he is fair to all students and does not take favorites. i will miss him when i leave his class.
he has over the top writing like wilfred on fx (fasade) admin sees him as involved, intellectual, (dog in wilfred show) whereas everyone else sees the act or the show (fakeness) (man in dog suit show)
poor writing, cliche, awkard phrasing, similiar copy styles to society
He doesn't give us back work that we turned in to study for tests or prepare for a paper that we need. He is never specific and just rambles on in class for the whole period. I don't think he's adequate for teaching gov or econ because he doesn't teach us anything at all.
Had him for US History. The class was an easy A. He can get boring but he's worth having as a teacher because it's so easy to do well in his class. He's also really nice and should be ASB advisor instead of Rosado who loves all of the popular kids.
The best history teacher I've had in my life. He actually connects history to reality. Also, he does not give a lot of homework but you still learn a lot.
HES SO FUNNY! he tells great stories but he gets off topic REALLY easily, he wouldnt get to important slides in powerpoints and didnt put them on schoolloop. If you study on your own you will be fine, but if you really rely on the teacher's teaching you will struggle. hes very entertaining though :D
He is great easy going teacher!! like him alot! He tells alot of funny stories and jokes! not much work to do and if so, easy works! lucky to have him!
My class seriously never gets anything done. He is constantly talking about Cupertino or his life, and I haven't learned anything from him the last month.
Great Teacher. One of my favorites throughout high school. Funny stories, but often nothing related to the original topic.
very knowledgable and spirited! haha he just needs to know when to be quiet. hes a little on the verbose side...
Wow, this was a memorable class. World History is easy and you learn a lot at the same time. Be prepared to listen to Mr. Morse talk unstoppably - lots of good stories though.
I love his class, it's interesting, and he's funny so it makes me actually pay attention
he was nice but the APUSH class was a joke. way too eady to be an AP class yet ppl still manage to pass the AP test so i might be wrong.
good teacher, he does know a lot about.. everything.good lectures, a lot of the time about corporate evil which is fun.knows history. need teachers like him
Likes to listen to himself talking and thinks he's cool...
Very fun to talk to, he is a walking sports encyclopedia. As a teacher, his system is fair. Awesome personality and great stories. He really knows his stuff.
Mr. Morse is a decent teacher. When I had him we take quizes every morning and he'd talk a lot about his history. The most important part about studying US History AP is to focus on the book. His lectures are just to get you through the day. Quizes ar
mr. morse is realli a good teacher. his stories are hilarious. i like how he rambles on and on about walmart.
if he's you history teacher, your grade is history too!
he made apush so much fun and he was an interesting guy. we learned lots of history too!
i love his stories. he knows about a lot of stuff but sometimes he doesn't stick with the textbook topics but who cares. he's always on the student's side.
I love his stories! He is biased, but who cares. HE IS AN AWESOME PERSON!
mr morse is great! his countless stories are very fun. just make sure you don't mention wallmart heheh
