on the first day of his class he showed us this cool 'ping pong popper'. i thought he was cool. he turned out to be the WORST TEACHER IN THE HISTORY OF TEACHING. he made sophomore year hell for me.
He teaches his regular chem class similar to a watered-down version of AP chem. We get homework everyday, and quizzes and tests every week. Incredibly boring class, but you actually learn. Sort of.
worst teacher ive ever had. the guy gets mad when you ask a question when you don't understand something. also, he makes alot of grading mistakes and then gets pissed when you bring them up to him.
one of my worst memories of high school was this man's class. I have a physical reaction every time I walk past his classroom even now. arbitrary, frightening and utterly unsympathetic
only class i ever got a C in. he's not very helpful and doesn't encourage you much. to do well in the class you will need to do lots of studying outside of class, teaching yourself what he fails to teach you.
he's repetitive on the unnecessary stuff like his Hawaii trip. but then he speeds through the important material we are supposed to learn. class is impossible unless you study all the time.
he's really boring. he doesnt teach either you have to teach yourself.
he's a good teacher. sometimes he leaves it up to the book to teach some stuff a little to much, but he'll engage in conversation and answer questions
this class would be so much easier if he would actually teach us the concept rather than just give us random problems to work.
first 6 weeks it was hard but if you learn to study it really is the easiest stuff to learn.
At least he tries- if you get him, you're pretty lucky considering the alternative. Read the chapters before you come to class. Also pretty funny and nice.
Not a very fair grader, but even so, just read the book or have specific questions to ask him and you'll get by
caution: if you are about to take his class, you better study and be prepaired for pop quizzes in class, because he will be raining them down like... rain.
Really hard, but you learn if you read the chapters before class. Nice, and always open for tutorials.
his class was really hard, but he was pretty funny. did anyone notice how he always said "how 'bout that"? He said it like a million times a day in our class.
Really hard. If you even pass his class, you'll feel a great feeling of releif and inspiration. Even so, many don't make it to passing his class.
i just think its funny that me and my lab partner never get the same grades, and mine are higher usually
read the chapters before you come to class if you want an A.
If you don't know something "you should have learned it already"-that's teaching
i did not enjoy his class. he isn't approachable...not too helpful.
He's strict, but his class is possible and he's a chemistry nut
