My god was he the most sarcastic, blunt teacher I've ever had. Just like the poster he had on his wall- he's allergic to bull. But, he is extremely knowledgable. Like ridiculously knowledgeable. I just wish he'd be slightly more helpful and not so sarcastic when students are having a difficult time understanding certain assignments, etc. It's like he knows so much he kinda just expects the students to get it as much as he does.

One of the most underestimated teachers at EMHS. He knows the California History standards like the palm of his hand; I never saw him use an outline or notes to lecture! But that's probably because he's been a teacher for 3282034 YEARS.
He's WAS a true EMHS gem.

He's a really good history teacher. I actually learn something out of that class compare to my previous history teachers (they just give you notes and more notes and expect you to know)

Bertonneau is by far the best teacher I had in High School. He's very straightforward and funny even when he's mad. His method of teaching is pretty oldschool but he gets the point across on what he wants us to no.

Excellent teacher, however many students at school are too immature to realize his talents so they decide to pick on him and give him a hard time.
