Great teacher, funny guy. He does pick favorites, but if you're respectful in class, you won't have any problems. Great chemistry teacher.

He isn't a bad guy, but he has favorites and holds grudges. He knows the subject, he just doesn't know how to teach it. He isn't helpful if you go for extra help. He is sarcastic and arrogant. If you don't understand chemistry, then you'll struggle in the class because he won't help.

He's my favorite teacher I've had at SJ. The most knowledgeable science teacher in the school, and a pretty funny and sarcastic guy. His class can be difficult (chemistry is difficult no matter what),

Class itself was fairly difficult, but I never would have managed a 5 on the AP exam without Mr. James. Fantastic at explaining concepts and will help you out if you just pay attention in his class.

Perhaps the most difficult class I took, but Mister James is certainly dedicated to his field. Very cold at first glance, but can be quite open and friendly when you get to know him.

He's not too helpful in extra help. Doesn't seem to get that some kids don't get chemistry. Teaches to the best students in class; seems to hold grudges against students. In class he's a funny guy

Incredibly knowledgeable, always willing to help if you take initiative. Also a great, albeit cynical, guy if you get to know him.

If you get him instead of Mr. Dana it's a plus. You get test corrections and you actually learn a lot more. He is a very good teacher once you get to know him.

This guy doesn't teach but with test corrections we all get good grades. Don't need to study but don't plan to learn anything.
