love him! he's my hero. his classes were hard though
What's wrong with opinion and bias in teaching? I've never had him as a teacher, but I can vouch for the fact that Schecter is indeed the man.
He was extremely hard, but his down to earth personality and impromptu field trips made class fun. he went so in depth with what he was teaching, because it was a part of his own life. He was amazing
He made journalism fairly fun, though he's kind of a tough teacher.
one of those teachers you will remember for your whole life...people say he's arrogant, it's just because he has very strong political beliefs but he doesnt pressure anyone to change their own
I am an LS 04' graduate and during my time at LS Schehter was one of the best teachers I ever had. He & I developed an out of class friendship which continues to this day
Passionate teacher -- really involved in his subject matter. good guy, funny, opinionated, grades WELL (not grade inflation!) enthusiasm is contagious
Bill is by far the best teacher at Lincoln Sudbury. My kid loved him.
The other ratings stunned me. He is by far the most arrogant, self centered teacher i have ever had. Although he prides himself on acceptance, he is extremely narrow minded.
Best teacher ever. Learned a lot and retained all of it--had him for three classes. Made me want to study history and teaches you how to write well.
He's amazing. Worked with him on the Forum as well. He's full of stories and makes history come alive. Don't listen to the unhappy grade-grubbers, he's #1.
I am a teacher because of Mr. Schecter. He taught about things that I wanted to learn about! Take his class.
Although somewhat oppionated, a great teacher, kept class interesting, was very knowledgable & has a passion for teaching...take an independant study with mr.s
The best teacher I had at LS. I retained more from his 20th century class than any other class hands down. Baffled that he has a poor rating.
