He honestly is the The Best Teacher On Campus. Period. No other teacher comes close to caring about their students and there future compared to him. Even if you suck at math i highly recommend you take this class. He will help you at lunch and he is just really nice. However chapter tests are super hard...

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. How is reading the textbook to us 'teaching?' Every difficult thing he teaches us, he justifies by saying it will be on Calculus AB math next year. Then he says things like, "Even if you have a B in Pre Calculus, you might not pass Calculus AB, guys." Stop discouraging people.

He is definitely one of the hardest teachers in Rowland; but, he's a great teacher overall. He cares about all of his students, even the ones failing. The only real hard part are his tests as they have things that are not in the textbook. My best advice is to make sure you ask him for help, and also to remember equations and formulas from algebra 2.

Koyfman is easy. He doesnt really check homework. But to pass his test, you must do the hardest problems from EACH section and answers are in the back of the book. Dont be lazy. Remember, the more tests you fail the harder it is to bring your grade up.

Get a tutor. My best advice is to get a tutor, ASAP. Before the year even starts, get a tutor. He's really great but his lectures are from the book. It's mostly just self study and lots, and lots, and lots of practice. Homework wise he doesn't care-- just turn something that looks like math and you'll get credit WHICH makes it even harder to stay motivated. His accent is heavy but his math is BEYOND GOD STATUS. He's intimidating but he loves his students (just try hard!). GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Mr. Koyfman is absolutely amazing. He motivates you to learn. He is definitely the best math teacher and also has the best jokes! hahaha.. Homework doesn't really count in his class but you have to do all your homework in order to do well on his tests. His tests are very hard compared to other math classes but it's really worth having him as your teacher because he is really inspiring... it's rare to have a former nuclear physicist as your math teacher and you shouldn't miss the only chance!
